A charity, founded by actor Robert Gavin, that provides funding for the Center for Keratoconus. Keratoconus is a progressive eye disease that affects more than one million individuals worldwide. It's the largest international nonprofit organization for keratoconus. Their scientific and medical team includes doctors at Johns Hopkins University, University of California at Los Angeles, University of California at San Diego, University of California at Berkeley, New York University, University of Michigan, University of Cambridge, Northwestern University, Georgetown University, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center, University of Houston, and University of Iowa. This charity accepts donations of cars, trucks and boats.

Charity Cars

Charity Cars provides donated vehicles to struggling families willing to work and become self-sufficient, tax paying members of the community. However, the vast majority of donated vehicles are not eligible to be program cars (Charity Cars bases its decisions on many factors including, but not limited to, yr/make/model/mileage/condition/location/recipient/repair and funding limitations.) and since placing a vehicle with a client is the exception rather than the rule, individuals who donate a car should assume that their vehicle will be sold at auction with the proceeds returning to Charity Cars Inc.

Cars for Homes

The Cars for HomesTM vehicle donation program uses your car donation to help Habitat for Humanity build homes in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable shelter. A majority of the net proceeds from your vehicle donation will distributed to your local Habitat for Humanity affiliate and HFHI to partner with families in need of decent, affordable shelter to build their own homes.

Heritage for the Blind

Heritage for the Blind is a national non-profit organization dedicated to servicing those who are blind and visually impaired. Since 1979, their mission has been to provide the tools necessary to help the blind and visually impaired independently explore and participate fully in society. Their organization is listed in the IRS cumulative list of tax-exempt organizations with our IRS tax identification number, 58-2164446. Heritage for the Blind is listed in the American Foundation for the Blind's Directory of Agencies serving the visually impaired in the United States.

World Vision

World Vision is a Christian relief and development organization dedicated to helping children and their communities worldwide reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty. World Vision assists millions of people in nearly 100 countries in Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia and Latin America, and in the United States. In 2002, 84% of all funds donated to World Vision in the US went towards relief and develop- ment programs.

Outreach Center For Children

Contributing to Outreach Center will allow them to continue working towards the care and living situations of children in the community. In addition, when you make a car donation, you can write it off on your yearly tax return. They accept any auto donation nationwide. Your tax deductible car donation makes it possible for us to support dozens of children's charities. When you donate an auto, boat, or real estate property, you will know that you are helping a worthy cause
